Programme Overview

The Executive Management Leadership Programme (EMLP) at the University of Kisubi is a six-day intensive leadership training designed to enhance the leadership and management competencies of professionals, with a special focus on Catholic Church institutions and other values-based organisations.

Established under the Porticus-supported New Generation Leadership Programme (NGLP), the EMLP reflects the University’s strong commitment to developing ethical, competent, and transformational leaders. The programme integrates the principles of servant leadership with contemporary executive management practices to respond to the growing demands of governance, accountability, and effective service delivery.

Rooted in Catholic social teaching and contextualised within African leadership realities, the EMLP equips both consecrated and lay leaders with practical, real-world skills to lead effectively within complex institutional environments.
